@ModernWarzone Tbh it looks like they were heavily inspired by those DMZ bot footage clips that circulated COD Twitter a little while ago. The ones where it was just helmet cam bots fighting. They just added a bit of a narrative/direction to it for the sake of a trailer.
@Reismyname2@WoWMistiq TXR is always night time and is basically just a highway loop. It's not a dense world at all.
Screamer looks good but it's very stylised. It's also not open world.
Not to say these aren't things that cleverly allow them look/run better, but they don't solve UEs inherent issues.
@davidc41599606@realityuk It is on the rails if you look at the front half of it, it's just that the back half tapers down. I'm assuming the foregrip reference they used allows you to install it at two different angles maybe?
@burgeoisiee NFS Heat was good I feel like, but even then they barely spoke. It was only to be like yes, no, what?, etc.
NFS Payback on the other hand 💀
Midnight Club LA is a great one. It’s shit-talky, slightly campy and fun without being cringe. Feels like an early F&F film.
@horsepower Engine bay looks really nice but wondering why the artist didn't use bevels instead of sharp edges on the solid coloured bits? (of which there are many)
They are just as computationally expensive but bevels look better and make perfect sense here because uv aren't an issue
@st_ink_bug_art I think they redo the facial scans for each reboot MW, at least to some extent.
Price in MW19 looks very different to how he does in MWII/III. His eyes are way smaller for example.
Same with Soap who has a bigger overbite in MW19.
Doesn't really bother me though.
@BigRob There were a good amount of exclusive blueprints and operator skins and I like customisation (especially since MWII introduced letting you use blueprint attachments across guns).
Also gave you easier ways to unlock base weapons without grinding through levels or battlepass.
@toonzoku I’m yearning for an Accord Euro CL9 or CL7R man pls
Ludicrous to feature a DC5S and EP3R but not this when during that early-mid 2000s of Honda, it had the most racing pedigree of their whole FWD line up.
@diasluizzz I think Forza Horizon benefits greatly from the fact that it branched off a sim-racing/simcade franchise like Forza Motorsport.
Whether or not casuals realise it, the audience that simulators are geared towards, are much more sensitive to things like bad handling/driving feel.
@CanipaShow Idk abt the devs but borderlands 2 already captured the experience of Australia. Those bandits are straight out of Sydney public transport!!
@Genistarts I only agree with him when it comes to certain car laws/regulations being over the top and performative, especially with modified cars. Oh also the lifelessness of many newer cars and the obsession with large suvs and crossovers.
But while it’s annoying, we aren’t oppressed lmao
@FoxBoyeLocksley@TheCanadianGTR I believe the past couple of FH games rely on voxel-based global illumination.
Either way, it's nice to see non-RT visuals still looking good. Reminds me of GTA Vs re-release with RT. Both run/look great without it but it's there for people that can afford it.
@Lil_9_Lives@NavirBox@s7eelreign Calling someone a ‘tourist’ and its a feature that’s been in series since FM3 (2009)
This is such a none-issue you guys will find a way to moan about anything. It’s optional and when you’re allowed to use it online it is extremely punishing. It invalidates your laps in rivals.
