I miss African Americans, and their real Black racial consciousness. Black people in Europe think they live in a post racial Europe, despite evidence to the contrary.
The lack of real Black racial consciousness amongst Black people in Europe is actually infuriating to see.

Y'all get slower and slower. Educate yourselves before posting stupid rhetoric. Africans knew about comics, they were even making their own in the 50s. I never said it was an African film, yes it's American made, but there's nothing wrong with an African being cast for a role about their own people.
What's so hard to understand? If you have articles that prove me wrong, attach them. Nothing wrong with learning something new.

You're mixing two different things. A film can be CLASSIFIED as a Black American film because it was made by a Black American director in America, and still be ABOUT an African nation. Both can be true at the same time.

It being classified as an FBA film because of where it was made doesn't change WHAT the story is. The story is still about Wakanda, an African nation inspired by African cultures your own screenshot says that. So why can't an African play an African king? That’s the whole argument.

My point stands I never said hire an African because he's African. I said hire whoever is PERFECT for the role. If that happens to be a Black American, cool. If it's an African or British, cool. It's about who delivers the best results for a role that is literally an African king.
