@hughlaurie Happy Birthday! I wish more Americans were familiar with your work beyond House. I started with Blackadder and Jeeves and Wooster way back in the day.
@NAFOteacher I understand the feeling of an adult orphan, but I was older - 47. I lost my parents 9 months apart. Even when you're an independent adult, you still need them. It's been over 2 years and I am still adjusting. It will get easier. 🫂🫂🫂
@TheRealThelmaJ1 I grew up in AZ and it's the same here in the Midwest. The lines keep growing at our food distributions. The food bank who helps supply our food pantry has lost millions of pounds of food via cuts to federal programs.
@gaughen@P_Kallioniemi 💯 I volunteer at a food pantry and the need is enormous. Federal cuts to programs that help food banks have really hurt us. People just keep getting squeezed harder, and Trump's policies have only added to the pressure.
This day four years ago I created “Ukrainian Art History” to share Ukrainian art with the world. I know I haven’t been posting much lately, but I proud for what I’ve achieved with this account. Thank you for being here, for your appreciation and support ❤️
Yeah, pretty much😂
Here’s a list of what Trump has said about the Iran war so far.
“We won the war.”
“We defeated Iran.”
“We must attack Iran.”
“The war is ending almost completely, and very beautifully.”
“You never like to say too early you won. We won. In the first hour it was over.”
“We did win, but we haven’t won completely yet.”
“We won the war.”
“Please help us.”
“If you don’t help us, I will certainly remember it.”
“Actually, we don’t need any help at all.”
“I was just testing to see who’s listening to me.”
“If NATO doesn’t help, they will suffer something very bad.”
“We neither need nor want NATO’s help.”
“I don’t need Congressional approval to withdraw from NATO.”
“Our allies must cooperate in reopening the Strait of Hormuz.”
“US allies need to get a grip—step up and help open the Strait of Hormuz.”
“NATO are cowards.”
“The Strait of Hormuz must be protected by the countries that use it. We don’t use it, we don’t need to open it.”
“This is the last time. I will give Iran 48 hours.”
“Iran is dead.”
“We had very good and productive talks with Iran.”
“We’re making progress.”
“They gave us a present. It was a very significant prize.”
“Make a deal, or we’ll just keep blowing them away.”
“We don’t have to be there for NATO.”
“Talks are progressing.”
“Open the Strait of Hormuz immediately, or face devastating consequences.”
“A deal is very close.”
“Iran will do the right thing.”
“We’ll see what happens very soon.”
“Something big is going to happen.”
My heart melted this morning! One of my students gave me this sweet end-of-year "thank you" card and colored me a Ukraine picture 🇺🇦
Teaching is one of the best jobs on earth ♥️
@seth_filipsen@Joseph_Swann_@DrNeilStone I wasn't suggesting that one high school class made us experts. The original post was in response to someone claiming they had no mRNA. A basic intro bio class should have taught them otherwise.
