@LettersfromTim@AlboMP "Give Albo more time"?🤯
HE SAID he'd act as soon as we gave him power.
He should already be promoting health & science, as promised.
Wearing a mask as per advice.
He should never have ripped away existing protections.
And should be speaking honestly & regularly about covid.
I don't know why I didn't think of this before! The local paper is automatically delivered free to thousands of people in my community.
Since it landed on everyone's doormats I've had about ten people wave in the street and holler, " hey, saw your article!"

@PaulaYScanlan The number of people i still see not wearing masks in 2026 after 6 years and half a million studies confirming that each infection cumulatively damages your health and intelligence is genuinely concerning.
I am a leading medical researcher.
@kprather88@michael_hoerger High PM2.5 across NE 🇺🇸, as of the time of this post.
Multiple sources, but particularly coal-burning power plants.
Typical winter pattern.
Millions of people taking in lungfulls of unhealthy air, 15 times a minute.

@RogerGustafsso2@scott_squires@kprather88 You can't become immune to air pollution - at least, not that we know of. And even if WE could become immune to it, its consequences extend far beyond human health. Almost everything on Earth - alive or not - is adversely affected by air pollution, even at very low levels.
Clean air is about more than airborne disease transmission, it’s about countless other ones as well. From heart attacks and strokes, through to dementia.
Clean the air!!
Exposure to fine particulate matter air #pollution (PM2.5) increases risk for #dementia
We need tougher legislation to lower levels.
This includes wood stoves & transport.
“I think there’s a collective amnesia right now about COVID-19”
SARS-CoV-2 infections have been rising in the past month, and limited surveillance is hampering health strategies

@StarRadcliffe It's not too late to turn this into a positive you know.
I know you're under pressure from Gov on attendance targets.
We're trying to tell you that diseases spread easily this way.
You could reduce the impact by taking care of indoor air quality. Do you do this?
I could help you.
Why is there a drive to have 100% attendence in schools in the middle of a COVID and flu wave when we don’t have any protections in schools like clean air @HollingworthAc?
Is this a Government initiative @bphillipsonMP?
@StarRadcliffe This drive for 100% attendance is counterproductive.
- Sick kids can't learn effectively
- They risk infecting others, worsening the burden of illness
- coming to school when sick can prolong their illness & increase the risk of longCOVID if infected with SC2. They need to rest.
"more than 90 per cent of the time we are indoors, be at home, office, school … so it is indoor air which is the most important for our health.
"This is the problem right now — we must establish indoor air quality standards, and mandate those standards."
