I am excited to announce my commitment to Eastern Oklahoma State College to further my academic and athletic career!
First and foremost, I would like to thank the man above for blessing me with this opportunity! I would like to thank my family for always pushing me to being the best version of myself, and being my best friends. I would also like to thank Coach Tom Greene for making me the man I am today. I would like to thank Coach Laird, Coach Andreas, and Coach Wade for giving me a chance and allowing me to grow as not only a player, but also as a person. I would like to thank Coach Sanson for bringing me in with a great group of guys and constantly pushing me to fix the little things. Finally,! would like to give a huge thanks to Coach Merrill, Coach Bartley, and Coach J for giving me this amazing opportunity that I will make the most of!

I am beyond excited for this new chapter and what it has in store for me!

Cypress Falls rallied with a big third inning and held on late to defeat Memorial 8-5 Tuesday at Cypress Falls High School.

Memorial struck first in the second when Grant Sperandio @GrantSperandio lined a single on a 3-0 count to plate a run. Cypress Falls answered in the third with a five-run inning, highlighted by a two-run single from Ashton Schmidt @6AshtonSchmidt that gave the Golden Eagles a 5-1 lead.

Memorial battled back in the fourth, tying the game 5-5 with the help of two Cypress Falls errors, an RBI single by Jackson Carrillo @jpcarrillo21 , and a sacrifice fly from Jake Earnest @JakeEarnest19 . Cypress Falls reclaimed the lead in the fifth when Zy Rodriguez delivered an RBI single to make it 6-5, and the Golden Eagles added insurance later to secure the win.

Jayden Leyva earned the victory for Cypress Falls, allowing 5 hits and 5 runs (1 earned) over 5 innings with 2 strikeouts and 2 walks. Chris Izaguirre recorded the save. Memorial starter Matthew Manis @Matthew_Manis2 allowed 5 runs on 4 hits over 2 2/3 innings.
