Everyone hopes they will answer the test of fear and violence well, but you never know for certain. No one wants to be the coward but the line between hero and coward under fire is razor thin. Who takes what path often surprises you. Like K Troop at the Battle of the Greasy Grass
Indian-born Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi introduces a bipartisan resolution to designate July as “Indian American Heritage Month,” backed by nearly 60% of the House.
Krishnamoorthi says more than 5.2 million “Indian Americans” live in the US, declaring:
“Indian Americans have helped shape this country for generations…to honor that legacy and celebrate the many ways Indian Americans continue to enrich our country.”

@surveytheland@Katy_Faust Knowing when to lie to the government is a crucial aspect of being an American
Like lying to a recruiter about anything that ever happened to you
@RetiredAteenFox A shotgun is fine if you are too poor to afford a pistol or a rifle, but seeing the costs of ARs now you have to be destitute not to be able to afford one
@45_70_Logan@1982VintageNut@Partisan_O Twitter actually costs me money because I donate what I make to charity and then pay tax on the income that I can’t deduct
Firstly, it isn’t about the money. I barely made any money under the old system. Twitter bucks don’t even pay for one @1982VintageNut seafood tower, let alone drinks with @Partisan_O
Secondly, it is possible I do not get the type of engage the new system wants.
But I doubt it
But never fear: Twitter has Premium support…. Which turns out is just an AI programmed to send you links from the Help Center, and tell you it can’t help you…
Except when it slips up.
So when you say “he’s engagement farming”, know that I’m doing it for the love of the game, and I’m really just this same asshole for free
May god bless America
Is it possible I don’t get enough Twitter whale interactions? Maybe. But $0? Unlikely:
Aside from the big accounts circle jerk this creates, Twitter analytics are effectively meaningless because they do not track the one metric required to measure monetization.
The new system allegedly pays for “engagement” from premium subscribers only, but adds an unspecified multiplier for higher subscription tiers.
This means if more big accounts who are paying the highest for their account interact with you, you get paid more.
