🚨BELFAST HERO!
Real men still exist.
Maitiu Mág Tighearnán (Maitie Mag Toghearnan) saw a savage street attack last night in Belfast. He grabbed his hurley stick and stepped in to protect the victim.
No waiting for police. No bystanders. Just courage.
We needs thousands more like him.
Legend.👏🏼

Stranraer FC can confirm that Mark Russell has officially left the club and has signed for fellow League Two side @Stirling_Albion.
Mark joined the Blues from Portadown just over eighteen months ago and went on to make seventy appearances for the club, scoring eighteen goals during his time at Stair Park.
His commitment, ability and leadership were recognised at the start of this season when he was appointed club captain.
Everyone at Stranraer Football Club would like to thank Mark for all of his efforts and contributions in a Blues shirt, and we wish him every success in his future.
Yes, the stabbing IS about immigration
Britain needs an honest conversation about the high degree of mental illness in certain ethnic communities
Black people are 4 x more likely to be detained under the Mental Health Act than whites
Black men are more likely to have had a psychotic disorder in the last year than white men
Black people are diagnosed with schizophrenia at a rate of approximately 2.4 to 4 times higher than white people
Asylum seekers have more mental health problems than the native population
British Pakistanis account for 3% of births but 33% of children with genetic birth defects.
Why we are importing so many people who are a risk to the safety of others, contribute hugely to anti-social behaviour on our streets and are a burden on our failing mental health services?
It appears to be one of the few remaining taboos no one is willing to address.
From the murder of the Ukrainian woman in a American train to the mass stabbing on the Huntingdon train - to the daily evidence we see on the streets of our biggest cities - the mental health crisis within black and certain other communities is an issue we can no longer ignore.
We must have this conversation urgently without fear of causing offence. British lives depend on it.
Absolutely gutted to hear the news about Ollie, a gentlemen who did a lot for me. Had some of my best times on and off the park thanks to him signing me for Harps. A true legend of a man 💔 RIP mate
Everyone at the League of Ireland and the Football Association of Ireland are deeply saddened by the passing of League of Ireland legend Ollie Horgan.
Ollie was loved by so many around the League where he was a legendary figure at Finn Harps and also left his mark more recently at Galway United.
Our thoughts are with Ollie’s family and friends at this time.

Kilmarnock have been forced to delete a new signing post and video because some sad and pathetic grown “men” thought it was cool to make comments on her skin condition on what should have been the happiest day of her life, signing her first professional contract 😢
Happiness has now been taken away from her and all trace of her signing removed from Killie’s social media pages.
Let’s show Skye Stout some love from the entire football community and wish her a successful future ❤️
Wayne Rooney could have retired and lived a pensioner life at the tender age of 23 and he'd still eclipse everything James Milner has ever done in football
