I remember losing everything from addiction at 23. I’m sitting here at 29. Have about 110k liquid, 40k in stock. 3 paid off cars worth around 70-90k. I still rent. I feel like I’m so far behind and will never catch that “moving goal post” after reading this tho. It gives me hope. No matter what age we still can be successful and as long as we provide for our children that’s what really matters. I remember my kids 1st bday party crying in the bathroom thinking I won’t ever see 5k again or give my boys the best I can. (I grew up on a rd called crack alley w/addicted family) I still feel like I’m failing. As long as we can keep our kids happy. Nothing else really matters. Still trying to learn.
