In my 25 year career, I can say I haven't seen it all as Trooper Poppe #526 made this traffic stop on I-80 today. They were traveling 30 mph on the interstate & planning to go all the way to Texas. They received a citation for multiple violations while causing many near crashes.

@mountainbrookpd I too am saddened. My Dad worked for the Department, he retired around 1991-92. His Partner and Mountain Brook Officer Fred Harp lost his life in a very similar way. I am sending my continued prayers to the family of Officer Fred Harp, as I also send prayers to this family.
