DANIEL PELCZYNSKI was just arrested for 1st degree motor vehicle theft.

PELCZYNSKI is a registered sex offender from New York who recently moved to Colorado.

He has an extensive criminal record in NY and has a conviction from 2005 for Sexual Abuse with an individual less than 11 years old.

An online search shows that he was babysitting the victim at the time of the 2004 offense. He was classified as a Level 3 (high risk) sex offender, meaning authorities assessed him as having a high risk of reoffending and posing a threat to public safety. Level 3 offenders must register for life.

He is currently being held on a $2,000 bond.
