That stup:d pastor who misquoted the Bible verse “Believers are not yoked with unbelievers” just to justify his assumption and stop a Christian woman from marrying a Muslim man…
We clearly know there is no verse in the Bible that unequivocally says Christians shouldn’t marry non-Christians. In fact, there is no verse that gives specific treatment to Christians in this regard anyway, the very identity of the religion as we know it isn’t even present in the book in that explicit way…

This is not a new thing for us, because we know Christianity has no clear rulings or solutions for most of the problems its followers face. It’s just pastors and priests coming up with their own interpretations whenever it suits them…
Before you come trying to tag Muslims as “unbelievers,” get the authority first.
It’s not sinful for a Christian woman to marry a non-Christian, but it is sinful for a Muslim woman to marry a non-Muslim man and that’s clearly authoritative. That’s Islam not a joke.

The same Bible that slaveholders twisted was the Bible that empowered Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman, Sojourner Truth, and countless Black preachers to fight for liberation.

Enslaved Africans did not embrace Christianity because of the whip. They embraced Christ because they saw in Him a suffering Savior who identified with their chains.

There is a difference between Christ and corrupt men.
There is a difference between doctrine and distortion.
There is a difference between the Cross and the rope.

If someone commits evil while claiming Christ, they are condemned by the very Book they claim to follow. The hypocrisy of men does not invalidate the person of Jesus.

Blaming Jesus for the sins of racists is like blaming the Constitution for politicians who violate it.

It confuses principle with abuse of principle.

History is complex.

But the objective record shows this: Christianity has been both misused by oppressors and used as the moral foundation to overthrow oppression.

The Cross is not the problem.
Sin is.

Women are intellectually very lazy and it’s so fucking annoying.

One thing I’ve noticed is they process arguments in extremes. When they read or hear a statement, they don’t pause to consider nuance, exceptions, or context. Their thinking jumps straight to ALL or NOTHING, with no middle ground.

Take the gender pay gap as an example. When they hear the term, they immediately assume that all women earn less than all men. In doing so, they often ignore important variables such as:

differences in professions
hours worked
years of experience
job risk or physical demands

They also overlook the fact that there are many fields where women earn more than men. Instead of asking why disparities exist in certain industries, the issue gets flattened into a single emotional conclusion that’s repeated without analysis.

This same mentality shows up in relationships and marriages. For instance, if a man buys flowers regularly but misses a few times, it suddenly becomes “you never do anything for me.”

The times he did show up are erased. It’s either all the time or nothing at all. Words like some or most don’t seem to exist in that framework.

Because everything is interpreted as absolute, they feel personally attacked…even when a statement wasn’t aimed at everyone. The response then becomes defensive or hostile instead of thoughtful.

The irony is that this kind of thinking shuts down real discussion. Instead of asking clarifying questions like “Who exactly are you referring to?” or “In what context?”, they assume the worst possible meaning and go on the offensive. They think like children.
