@mr__daly @EoinLenihan @PaulTreyvaud Yes, CSO and Eurostat differ in how they treat students. CSO’s 41% figure also doesn’t count adults living at home who’ve got children of their own. Eurostat data is reflective of 18-34 year olds who haven’t independently moved out, ie the majority.

Don’t have exact % at hand but it’s still roughly 2/3 of 18-34 year olds living at home (including students who may spend a good portion of the year away from home).

@mr__daly @EoinLenihan @PaulTreyvaud Incorrect. Recent CSO and Eurostat data show similarly high percentages. Eurostat actually has it at roughly 68% for 18-34 year olds living at home if I recall correctly, and having viewed the methodology, Eurostat’s is the better data.
