@Heartbreak_Juan I never thought of it like that. So since the main focus would be on the character or action being portrayed, you allow yourself more lay-away when creating the other areas.

A way to cut corners and give you some leneance based on the reader's focus. Am I correct?

Is it that back ground shape are focus more on specific shapes and shading that you feel more comfortable drawing?
