@CryptoStorm3 @BBCNews British people can enter the USA on an ESTA which is a visa waiver programme. There is a reciprocal agreement with the UK where US citizens can enter on a ETA visa waiver.
You can be declined if you have a criminal record...but in these instances there was no apparent reason.

@RealLeafPJ FIFA's problem. They should never have awarded the tournament to countries that don't have a football culture and have restrictive immigration policies for visitors from participating countries. I sincerely hope that this is the last time they do this solely to make money.
