Part 10
nearly a month has passed and the only tangible progress made towards resolving my claim is that my house is ostensibly no longer in danger of having a lien put on it for non-payment (on behalf of Kemper) for the abatement and mitigation work. #kemper

Part 9
Expectations vs. Delivery: After months of non-contact from previous adjusters, my current adjuster, Gill Walker, apologized on behalf of Kemper and guaranteed a swift resolution to this claim. That simply has not occurred.
@KemperInsurance I’d love to be able to find quick resolution and get Kemper moving on this claim. Message me and I can you the correct parties connected.

Part 7
I’ve had to fight just to get a call from someone. When I call the Kemper office they always direct me to an operator. When I have asked to be directed to the claims department they’ve told me “your adjuster is the claims department”.
@KemperInsurance
Part 8
When I asked to speak to a manager they’ve told me “your adjuster doesn’t have a manager”. When I was finally called by my adjuster Gill Walker he refused to give me a manager’s contact info. #kemperclaimsdept
Part 6
@kemperinsurance
- Transparency & Communication: My house has not been livable since August and has been just sitting there for months while Kemper drags their feet and won’t even call me, or let me talk to a supervisor. Throughout this process I have gone thru 3adjusters
@KemperInsurance
Part 5
Why this is a problem:
- Financial: Since I moved out of my house I have not been reimbursed for ANY of my expenses or temporary housing, despite showing months of payments have made out of pocket.
@KemperInsurance
Part 4
As a result, I was told I had to move out of my house due to my house not being livable. My date of loss was in July, and only in late December did I just get an inspection from the insurance company (Kemper) on my claim.
Part 3
@KemperInsurance
The situation: In July a tree fell on my house causing exterior and interior damage. In the months of August and September my house had an abatement, and restoration demo to my living, kitchen, dining, bedroom and office down to the studs.
Part 2
@KemperInsurance
I am not one to complain about this sort of thing on social media - but at this point I don’t know what else to do. I just want to warn people of my experience with Kemper Insurance.
