Unfortunately my home and my parents’ home had flooding of two or more feet during Hurricane Helene. We evacuated before the storm and are safe, but we have a lot of work ahead of us. 805 will be paused for the rest of 2024 or longer. We will not have a November issue. -Stephanie
We’re pleased to publish Volume 10, Issue 1. The poetry, prose, and art in this issue will linger with you like the last golden hours of summer, not yet ready to leave your doorstep. A special congratulations to Jake Huang, Logan Foster, Anna Han, and Olivia Wieland for debuting.
We're excited to nominate "Flashback," by Kenton K. Yee and "How a Month Becomes a Tidal Force," by Jill Michelle for the @BestNewPoets 2024 anthology. Congratulations and good luck!
As October settles over us, we find ourselves craving the simplicity of the season. Cool breezes, warm drinks. The gentle embrace of someone we love. Enjoy our latest issue.
