WANTED WEDNESDAY: Do you recognize this dirt bike deviant?
Yes, we’re talking about another dirt bike deviant because another person’s dirt bike was stolen!
On Sunday, May 17, this dirt bike deviant responded to a Facebook Marketplace listing for a dirt bike and told the seller to meet him at a house on Ernest Street. The seller agreed and arrived to the meeting point a few minutes later. Our dirt bike deviant then asked to ‘test drive’ the bike before buying, which the seller agreed to this request.
What our seller didn’t agree to was a never-ending test drive. Our dirt bike deviant took off on his ‘test-drive’ and never returned.
We need your help identifying this dirt bike deviant this suspect before he test drives another ride.
If you recognize this dirt bike deviant, call us at 904.630.0500. Want to stay anonymous? Contact First Coast Crime Stoppers at https://t.co/3EqITz77wK, and you could be eligible for a cash reward (maybe to spend on a dirt bike?).
Don’t recognize him? You can still help by visiting our Unsolved Crimes page. You never know who you might recognize.
BAD NEWS! Usually, we don't see our statewide snowpack peak until around March 24. However, with an upcoming ridge and accompanying heatwave, I think we've already peaked. If that turns out to be the case, this season's peak statewide mean snowpack will be the lowest on record.
🚧SR-210 PLAN AHEAD
Once parking lots have been closed for downhill travel, resort guests & backcountry users will not be allowed to leave until @UDOTavy mitigation and @UtahDOT road operations are complete.
Another avalanche fatality yesterday. It’s been a really rough week in Utah and across the west. It weighs heavy on me… Condolences to friends and family.
🚧Road Closure Alert🚧
SR-190 is temporarily holding traffic at Cardiff (MP 10.7) both uphill and downhill for back country rescue operations.
@SLCO_OOTS on scene.

We are closing at 5pm today ‼️ For the safety of our staff & customers along with continued heavy snow canyon conditions we are closing early today. Please plan your trip accordingly and thank you for your patience at this time. @UDOTcottonwoods

We’re celebrating a special milestone in our commitment to serving our community: 30 years of the Sheriff’ Watch. Sheriff Nat Glover began this initiative in 1995, and it continues to grow every year. The Sheriff’s Watch is your chance to meet and connect with the officers who serve in your neighborhood. We can’t do our jobs without your support and trust, and the Sheriff’s Watch helps us build those relationships.
Sheriff Waters and his team are proud to continue to grow what we do and make this community safe together.
This year, we’re excited to announce an expansion to the Sheriff’s Watch, inviting businesses to become members.
We love connecting with members of our community, whether its through our Sheriff’s Watch meetings or our monthly Sheriff’s Neighborhood Crime Prevention Walks. Our officers are here to serve; these are great opportunities to meet the men and women who protect your area.
