@ojessie__ 70 Ford Galaxy Station Wagon (390cid FE block). The suspension got "floaty" around 85/90 but as a stupid kid I continued to accelerate. Got to about 110 before running out of straight road. Wouldn't do it today (not with that car :).

Agreed. Why do more people in the world live in the sun belt (around the equator)? Because sunlight/heat is the energy that keeps us alive. Freezing is the absence of that energy. Of course a moderate climate does make for an easier life. The truth usually lies somewhere in the middle.

@oelma__ If you're peeing in the wild, try and water some grass or low bushes. Peeing right into open dirt causes splatter and you'll "crust up" your shoes & pant legs. Peeing into the grass diffuses this splatter and keeps your feet dry :). This seems to be true for both men & women.
