I have to say though I've hated this guy, seems like a war monger and one that would have made millions on his name. Still find it hard to believe there's just $1.5m to his name. But what a fighter for survival and looking after his only family.

I often criticized Lindsey Graham. But this weekend, I learned his full story:

- Orphaned young, he adopted & raised his little sister instead of letting her go into the system.

- Grew up dirt poor, racking balls in his parents’ pool hall.

- In search of opportunity, he joined the Air Force. Served 33 years. Retired a Colonel.

- Then spent decades in Congress, earning respect across the aisle.

- Bashed Trump hard in ~2016, then respected the will of the voters, and grew to become a loyal ally.

- Humble. Devoted to his constituents.

- Driven by patriotism (even when misguided). Never in it for the money. Could've cashed in any time like most of his colleagues.

- That Disney trip everyone mocked? Just a good uncle taking his beloved nieces. He smiled through (and ignored) the hate to protect his family.

RIP to a self-made American original.

🇺🇸🇮🇶 Something extraordinary just happened between Trump and Iraq’s new Prime Minister, and it could mark a historic geopolitical realignment.

Trump’s meeting with Ali al-Zaidi became such a love fest that he spontaneously invited the Iraqi delegation to stay for lunch, despite no meal being scheduled.

He praised their “tremendous chemistry” and talked up the enormous opportunities now opening in Iraq.

But this wasn’t just Trump being charming; it was the payoff from his Ambassador to Turkey and Special Envoy to Iraq and Syria, Tom Barrack.

His relentless dealmaking across all 3 countries is pulling Iran’s neighbours toward Washington through investment, trade, and infrastructure.

And this may be the clearest example yet of Trump's new Middle East paradigm: stop spending trillions blowing countries up and start using American capital to build the infrastructure that ties them to Washington.

For decades, America spent trillions on huge military operations in Iraq while Iran quietly accumulated influence.

Now there's a coordinated attempt to economically encircle Iran while dragging the heart of the Middle East back into the American sphere, without fighting another trillion-dollar war.
