Again, it's not exact science, I never claimed it was. I just said, the orgs see the ceiling and say "lets take the tool and try to harness it"

@BrushEmBack @JMikeMLB I'm not/never have been a pitching coach and never said it's easy. Tayron Guerrero was a teammate of mine in Eugene. Walked 1 per inning, had a wild pitch every other inning. Also had a 100mph FB and a great build for a P. Guess who hung around long enough to figure it out?

@theoxycleanman @anthony_ranaudo It doesn't happen in college hockey, and wouldn't in college baseball. It's not a guaranteed contract, it's the rights to sign the player. If the kid decides not to play, then the MLB team would say "this kid doesn't want to play" and not sign him after his eligibility period

@thepwhlofficial Yipee...This whole thing is an absolute disaster. You've ruined the original teams ability to compete, allowed for backdoor garbage like this, and still somehow wedged all the expansion teams ahead of Toronto and NY in the draft. Disgraceful

- Pitchers don't pitch to contact
- Defensive strategy has dramatically improved so guys stand where hitters hit the ball
- Incentive is HR and OPS+ not AVG
- K isn't taboo any more
