Ask Jeeves, the popular search engine from the 1990s, has now shut down.

The parent company closed the website, and visitors now only see a simple placeholder page.

Ask Jeeves was special because you could ask questions in plain English. It had a friendly butler mascot and helped millions of people search the early internet.

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has stated that Grand Theft Auto VI will not include any real-world brand product placements.

He explained that the game features a fully fictional world where all brands are made up. “So we’re not even at risk of doing brand partnerships because all the brands are made up. And I think that keeps us pure,”

This will allow Rockstar Games to maintain the satirical integrity of the Vice City setting without ads.
