We loved having @MatHeagerty visit us last Friday to talk to our 5th-8th graders about strengths in learning differences, & about his graphic novel #Lumberjackula. We were engaged and entertained with his collaborative hybrid character creations, too!

This week our K-2 students had a wonderful author visit from @CaraMentzel organized by @boulderbooks She read aloud from her new book #loudmouse and our kids sang loud and proud!

[Boulder Valley School District @BVSDcolorado]

We haven't yet been able to visit our buildings, due to evacuation orders. Last night BVSD security teams checked cameras and status indicators at all of our schools & it appears that none were touched by the fires. Our thoughts remain with the many families who lost their homes.
