രണ്ടാമത്തേത് 'മേഘമൽഹാർ' എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിന് വേണ്ടി ഒ എൻ വി കുറുപ്പ് എഴുതിയ "ഒരു നറു പ��ഷ്പമായ്"

ജൂറിക്ക് ആശയകുഴപ്പം ഉണ്ടായി.

ഒടുവിൽ ഭൂരിപക്ഷം പേരും അംഗീകരിച്ചതിനെ തുടർന്ന് ഗിരീഷ് പുത്തഞ്ചേരിക്ക് അവാർഡ് നൽകുകയുണ്ടായി.

എന്നിരുന്നാലും കാവ്യ ഭംഗി നിറഞ്ഞ ഒരു നറു പുഷ്പമായ് എന്ന പാട്ട് എഴുതിയ ഒ എൻ വി ക്ക് അല്ലേ അവാർഡ് നൽകേണ്ടിയിരുന്നത് എന്നാണ്
ഇപ്പോഴും ഞാൻ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നത്.

2005 ലും ഇത് പോലെ ഒരു ആശയ കുഴപ്പം അന്നത്തെ ജൂറിക്ക് ഉണ്ടായി. അന്നത്തെ അവസാന റൗണ്ടിൽ വന്നത് "നോട്ടം എന്ന സിനിമയിൽ പൊൻകുന്നം ദാമോദരൻ വർഷങ്ങൾക്ക് മുൻപ് എഴുതിയ 'പച്ച പനം തത്തേ' എന്നു തുടങ്ങുന്ന ഗാനവും,

��നന്തഭദ്രത്തിനു വേണ്ടി ഗിരീഷ് പുത്തഞ്ചേരി എഴുതിയ 'തിര നുരയും' എന്നു തുടങ്ങുന്ന ഗാനവും ആയിരുന്നു. ഭൂരിപക്ഷം ജൂറി അംഗങ്ങളും തിര നുരയും. എന്ന പാട്ട് എഴുതിയ ഗിരീഷിന് അവാർഡ് നൽകണമെന്ന് വാദിച്ചു.
പക്ഷേ ഒരു ജൂറി മെമ്പർ ഇ പാട്ടിനെ ഒന്നു കൂടി ഈഴ കിറി പരിശോധിച്ചു.

"തിര നുരയും നിൻ ചൂരുൾ മുടിയിൽ
സാഗര സൗന്ദര്യം" എന്നു തുടങ്ങുന്ന വരിയിൽ കാമുകി യുടെ സൗന്ദര്യത്തെ സാഗരത്തോട് ഉപമിച്ചത് നന്നായ���ട്ട് ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലും അത് തിര നുരയുന്നത് പോലെ എന്നു പറയുമ്പോൾ 'നരബാധിച്ചവളണോ കാമുകി' എന്നു ആശയ കുഴപ്പം ഉണ്ടാകുന്നതായി അഭിപ്രായപെട്ടു.

പിന്നീടാണ് 'നോട്ട'ത്തിലെ പച്ച പനം തത്തേ. എന്ന ഗാനം എഴുതിയ പൊൻകുന്നം ദാമോദരനു തന്നെ അവാർഡ് നൽകുവാൻ ജൂറി ഒരുമിച്ചു തീരുമാനം എടുക്കുന്നത്.

എന്തു തന്നെ യാലും ഇത്തവണ ത്തെ ജൂറിക്ക് മികച്ച ഗാനരചയിതാവിനെ കണ്ടെത്താൻ ഒട്ടും പ്രയാസം അനുഭവപെട്ടു കാണില്ല. ��റ്റൊന്നും നോക്കാതെ വേടന് കൊടുക്കാന്‍ അവര്‍ തീരുമാനിച്ചൂ...!
