Korean fanbase @/jminreport encouraged its followers to upvote comments that malign Jungkook and fabricate rumors against him.

On Nate Pann, the top 6 comments are displayed as ‘best comments.’ Because Nate Pann is notorious for trolls, it often happens that malicious comments about celebrities rise to the top. Many fans try to defend their bias there by upvoting comments that debunk rumors, clarify facts, or simply advise others to ignore the hate.

But what @/jminreport did was this:
1. Instead of upvoting comments that support and defend their bias, they deliberately chose to upvote comments that malign Jungkook and his fans, and that spread fabricated rumors against him.
2. Even more appallingly, they initially upvoted seemingly neutral comments advising people to “ignore,” but after those comments reached the top, they were edited to include content maligning Jungkook and spreading rumors about him.

The images attached to those comments and the rumor scenarios are the very same ones developed in DC Inside BTS Gallery—an online forum that has been identified as a hub for organized anti-Jungkook activities. They have even circulated images containing Jungkook’s and his family’s resident registration numbers (equivalent to U.S. Social Security numbers).

.@HYBEOFFICIALtwt / @BIGHIT_MUSIC / @bts_bighit should take immediate action against this account (@/jminreport), which disguises itself as a ��report’ account while being connected to DC Gallery, spreading false information and malicious agendas against Jungkook, and encouraging others to join the hate train. The company must also take firm measures against those in DC Inside BTS Gallery and Nate Pann who continuously fabricate rumors and harass Jungkook. For years, the company has neglected to resolve this issue and even revealed a dangerously complacent mindset by referring to these DC Gallery perpetrators as ‘fans’. Everyone is watching closely how this negligence has directly enabled ongoing threats against their own artist.
