Afternoons on BBC Radio Leicester, BBC Radio Derby and BBC Radio Nottingham. Husband, father. Too much time spent in old cars. And boats. All thoughts my own!
@CrowlandMH It’s a really neat solution. Thank you…it’s been a bit of a dumping ground, but getting to grips with it now. Found the remnants of a tiny cast iron fireplace in a previously inaccessible corner last night. Not sure how cosy it would have made it…!:-)
@CrowlandMH Just fabulous to see the ongoing work you’re doing to save this wonderful building. I think it’s fair to say the old place has found the right owner at the right time!:-)
Another great episode of @9amben’s brilliant @BBCLeicester series Secret Leicestershire looking at the Leicester Balloon Riot of 1864 in Vicky Park !. @visit_leicester @DocMediaCentre https://t.co/OaW0v8E3wy
Did you hear Canon Emma on @BBCLeicester?
It was great to talk with Ben Jackson @9amben for his latest Secret Leicestershire episode on the 450-year-old love story that took place in Sign Language, right here at Leicester Cathedral.

@fugitiveink I know things have to change and so on, just seemed a shame for decades of dedication to just vanish. Loving your Crowland updates by the by!
Just had a lovely chat with @9amben on @BBCLeicester radio about a planned Bagpuss film!
It will be made by Birmingham-based @ThreewiseEnt & has received investment via the West Midlands IP Fund
Find out more here & take a full listen on catch up too!

It’s Red Arrows Day. They are flying North at 12.58pm on the county border reaching Leicester itself at 12.59pm Rothley 1pm then turning West over Coalville at 1.01pm! Don’t miss them!
@fugitiveink I was thinking the same. Like the summer is clinging on, but autumn is anxious to get cracking. There’s even the faint smell of autumn on this evening’s warm breeze.
