YMMV on depicting a current ongoing conflict but thankfully this is mostly just straightforward good guys vs bad guys iconography. The last 25 minutes are pure action bliss, featuring Kaufman’s best, tightest direction operating on his largest scale yet.

With the time I had I wanted to refer back to my academic roots a bit and tie the seminal horror film in with how it depicts a form of modern folklore and urban legends on the silver screen.
