Last week we met again for our final conference.
The weather was perfect and we were able to present the results of our project to all interested parties.
Now we can send our policy paper with our suggestions for improvement in dealing with disabilities to the EU Parlament.

Marchs’s word of the month for AAA is Advocacy. Manuela Di Blasio from Exeo Lab chose this word and explains: #Advocacy involves collaborative work, active participation and use of communication strategies to influence decisions and policies affecting people with #disabilities.
We want to make sure that people with rare #diseases get the right medical care and #support they need. By working together, we can improve the lives of people with rare diseases.

Today we are celebrating the International Day of Education! #Education is a human right, which is why the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 24 January as International Education Day in 2018. In 2024, it will therefore take place on 24 January.

This day of action, which was first celebrated in 2019, aims to recognise the role of education for #peace and development and as a public good.
#Equality is not possible as long as there is no equal opportunity for lifelong, high-quality education.
