The Veteran Achievers felicitated have contributed immensely to the welfare of Ex-Servicemen and local communities through dedicated social service, youth mentorship, educational initiatives, healthcare awareness, heritage conservation and civil-military cooperation. राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मु ने लेफ्टिनेंट शशांक तिवारी, दि सेना सेवा कोर /1 सिक्किम स्काउट्स, को मरणोपरांत कीर्ति चक्र प्रदान किया। उत्तरी सिक्किम में गश्त के दौरान अग्निवीर स्टीफन सुब्बा एक तेज बहने वाली नदी में फिसल गए। व्यक्तिगत सुरक्षा की परवाह किए बिना लेफ्टिनेंट शशांक ने नदी में छलांग लगा दी और गंभीर चोटों के बावजूद अग्निवीर सुब्बा को किनारे की ओर धकेलकर उसकी जान बचाई। उनकी वीरतापूर्ण कार्रवाई भारतीय सेना के सौहार्द, निःस्वार्थ सेवा तथा अधिकारी और जवानों के बीच अटूट बंधन के मूल्यों का एक शानदार उदाहरण है।

President Droupadi Murmu confers Kirti Chakra (Posthumous) on Sepoy Janjal Pravin Prabhakar, The Mahar Regiment/1st Battalion The Rashtriya Rifles, for his courage beyond the call of duty, unwavering determination and conspicuous gallantry. During a Cordon and Search Operation in Anantnag district, he alerted the entire cordon and manoeuvred himself to prevent the escape of terrorists. Displaying unparalleled bravery and astute presence of mind, he successfully neutralised two hardcore terrorists. He made supreme sacrifice in the true traditions of Indian Army.

राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मु ने राइफलमैन सुनील कुमार, 4 जम्मू और कश्मीर लाईट इन्फैन्ट्री, को कर्तव्य के प्रति उनकी अटूट प्रतिबद्धता और असाधारण साहस के लिए मरणोपरांत वीर चक्र प्रदान किया। सीमा चौकी खारकोला पर तैनाती के दौरान उन्होंने अपने बंकर के बेहद करीब एक सशस्त्र खतरे को देखा और अपनी लाइट मशीन गन से उसे मार गिराया। मुठभेड़ के दौरान गंभीर रूप से घायल होने के बावजूद उन्होंने अदम्य साहस का परिचय दिया और वीरगति को प्राप्त हुए।

राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मु ने लांस दफादार बलदेव चंद, दि कवचित कोर, 4 राष्ट्रीय राइफल्स, को निडर पहल, वीरतापूर्ण कार्रवाई एवं भारतीय सेना की उच्चतम परंपराओं के अनुसार सर्वोच्च बलिदान के लिए मरणोपरांत शौर्य चक्र प्रदान किया। सितम्बर 2025 में किश्तवाड़ में आतंकवाद-रोधी अभियान के दौरान, सशस्त्र आतंकवादियों के हमले के बीच उन्होंने अदम्य साहस का परिचय देते हुए एक आतंकवादी के हाथ से पिस्तौल छीन ली। गंभीर घाव के बावजूद उन्होंने अंतिम सांस तक आतंकवादी से संघर्ष जारी रखा और वीरगति को प्राप्त हुए।
