They've gone and made what seems to be a powerful, permanent gene therapy for LDL cholesterol.

That means they'll be able to effectively prevent most heart disease with a single infusion!

I don’t buy that people need a manager all the time. A simple 60-40 portfolio or even just in the SP 500 should suffice for both. People may need advice on how to use the various options (401k, HSA, taxable) and then how to tax plan, but many years - paying 1% seems like highway robbery.
