“I’m actively practicing and speaking 20 languages to make patients feel safe and comfortable when they come to see me for their procedures.”

Matt “Bobcat” Ball is a Radiology Assistant II in the radiology department at the UC Davis Medical Center where he helps drain excess fluid from patients' abdominal cavities, often due to liver disease or cancer. For many patients, coming in for these procedures can be a difficult time and Matt is proud to be with them every step of the way. He makes sure their day feels a little lighter by connecting with them, sharing a laugh, and doing whatever he can to make them feel comfortable.

Saturday, we joined the Inglewood community in calling for a nationwide boycott of Home Depot.

Our union will not be silent in the face of Home Depot's collaboration with Trump's armed, lawless agents, nor of its exploitation of the most vulnerable workers!

We're joining and committing to a Home Depot boycott until they denounce ICE violent arrests, deny ICE access to the stores and parking lots without a lawful warrant, and stop surveilling its customers.
