“The Bank's goal for the next stage is to scale up development impact with innovation and integrity. We are builders. Together with our members and partners, let's build trust, build connections and build Infrastructure for Tomorrow.”— Zou Jiayi, AIIB President
Development must return to the top of the global agenda, with development cooperation serving as vital components of global governance, Zou Jiayi, president of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, said on Wednesday.
She noted that the AIIB is committed to financing infrastructure for tomorrow, advancing connectivity within Asia and across the globe and turning shared visions into tangible investments and commitments into concrete actions.
Zou stressed that with 111 members across six continents, bringing together developing and developed countries, AIIB is well positioned to serve as a bridge for South-South and North-South cooperation. It stands ready to deepen collaboration with its members and partners and work together to build a better world. #GlobalSouth #GlobalGovernance #GlobalStrategicDialogue2026
