Just finished our Aldine ISD Community Walk, and I am so proud of our team! My group visited six homes today. One family wasn’t home, and one had moved, but we were able to talk and connect with four families - to hear their stories, understand their challenges, answer questions, and address concerns.

Hearing a parent say, “Thank you for checking on my child,” meant so much. But when one of our students looked at us and said, “Y’all really care about me,” that warmed my heart.

Yes, we really do. And the best part? All four students we connected with will be in our schools.
