Australian farmers rely on fertiliser to grow the food we eat every day.

We want to make more of it in Australia, so we've helped build this fertiliser plant in Karratha.

When it’s completed it will be the biggest in the world.

And we’re looking at how a new oil refinery in Western Australia could help us make more of our own fuel here.

So whatever happens around the world, we'll have more of what we need at home.

Working families are better off because of Sally McManus and Michele O’Neil.

Under their leadership of the union movement, Australians have won bigger pay rises, better rights at work and more secure jobs.

They helped deliver paid family and domestic violence leave, stronger protections for casuals and gig workers, and an all-time low gender pay gap.
