Let's be honest. The greatest threat to our country today is the rise of authoritarianism, not socialism.
Let's commit to a little honesty in our politics, focus on economic growth for the most number of people, and restore a little trust in each other along the way.
An important clip here —not because of the incredibly awkward pause when the Castro-praising DSA guy doesn’t quite know what to say to Boris Sanchez— but because it exposes this cartoonish propaganda of those leftists who don’t understand Cuban history
Batista was a dictator
So was Castro
Many who opposed the Castro dictatorship opposed the Batista dictatorship. They’re not all sugar barons who fled their latifundias
Whoa! David Jolly on his first day on TV as a Dem nominee for Florida governor is absolutely COOKING Byron Donalds and calling Trump a socialist. Lmao.
This is gold.
What a night for Florida.
I’m so proud of David, this campaign, and every person who helped carry us through the primary. The energy in that room last night was incredible, but this is only the beginning.
Now we turn our eyes to November and take our message to every corner of Florida.
We’re ready. Let’s go win this.
Some of you are just learning about David Jolly after he clinched the Democratic nomination for Governor of Florida yesterday. You are researching him, watching interviews, following him on social media, and learning where he stands on the issues.
But I want you to watch this video because I think it tells you something about David’s heart.
As someone who has supported David from day one, this Juneteenth video is probably my favorite video of his campaign.
David talks about the history of Juneteenth, the history of emancipation right here in Florida, and why knowing and teaching our history matters. Because understanding where we came from does not divide us. Knowledge strengthens us.
Floridians know what has happened to Black history under our current governor. We have watched our public schools become a battleground over what parts of our history can be taught and how they can be discussed.
David sees it differently.
The more we know about one another’s history, the stronger we are. We can understand our individual pasts while still forging a path forward together.
One Florida.
If you are just getting to know David Jolly, start here. Watch this.
Florida isn’t red. Florida is purple and competitive again. Republicans know that.
If the election were tonight, we’d win. Byron Donalds doesn’t have answers on data centers, housing, healthcare, education, or affordability, so he wakes up every day calling me “radical.”
He’s scared. And he should be.
Last night, Florida Democrats spoke. Today, we move forward together.
Proud to stand with @davidjollyfl and @GwenGraham as we unite as one team with one mission: WIN IN NOVEMBER.
Together, we’ll lower costs, protect our freedoms, and deliver results for Floridians.
Incredible news: we’re kicking off the general election this morning with a new poll showing us UP 46%-45% over Byron Donalds. Florida, we can do this.
Con un reñido triunfo, Eliott Rodríguez asegura la candidatura demócrata en el Distrito 27 de Florida, según proyecta AP y se enfrentará a María Elvira Salazar en las elecciones generales de noviembre.

Congratulations to @DavidJollyFL on becoming the Democratic nominee for governor in Florida!
Committed to reducing insurance and property costs, improving health care, and strengthening schools, David Jolly will fight to build a stronger and more affordable Florida.
ANOTHER DEMOCRAT STANDING UP TO THE DSA TONIGHT AND FULLY REJECTING SOCIALISM!
So freaking proud of @davidjollyfl and excited to watch him over the next few weeks.
This is what leading, not following, looks like for Democrats.
Thank you, David, for having guts and conviction.
Congratulations to @ERodCBS4 on winning the primary in FL-27!
After four decades authentically telling South Florida's story, Elliott will flip this seat in November.
And help us fight for an Affordable America.
Former Republican Rep. David Jolly, who is now running for Florida governor as a Democrat, says he thinks he could beat the GOP nominee if the general election was held today: “They’ve chosen to double down on culture wars and defend Trump’s economy, and voters aren’t having it.”
