AMA Grains and Oilseeds Market Update.
Maize deliveries reached 312,717 MT (1 April–24 July 2026), up 106% on last year. Soyabeans up 58% to 45,744 MT. Sorghum up 15%; sunflower down 8%.
A dry forecast is a call to adapt, not to stop. Farmers who shift practices early i.e variety choice, planting dates and water use protect both yield and income.

We did give updates to the esteemed PS on the State of Agriculture & 2027 Outlook and the upcoming National Agriculture Conference which @AEDS_ZW & @AMAofficial_zim are undertaking together with a powerful team from the @MoLAFWRD_Zim.
The State of Agriculture & 2027 Outlook report will be used as a disruptive vehicle which will be used to review and inform various agricultural policies under the purview of the @MoLAFWRD_Zim and inform conversations on the upcoming National Agriculture Conference.
