@giantsny78 @RyanSchwach @YesWeKhan Khan however does have a decent shot in a head to head election. The Map created to protect Weprin’s incumbency banks on all the South Asian vote not being consolidated (Bengali, Guyanese, Sikh). In 2020 the Bengali and Guyanese candidate totaled to 50%.

@giantsny78 @RyanSchwach @YesWeKhan Not true. Weprin had no primary challenger in 2024. 2020 he won with a 50% of the vote versus Mahfuzul Islam and Albert Baldeo. Neither who would have run on Weprin’s behalf.

That being said, I live in AD24 and it’s such a Gerrymandered district created to protect Weprin’s seat.
