I think the “found family” scenes from recent 911 episodes have felt increasingly forced and unearned when we’ve only seen the characters bond in response to crises and conflict instead of their personal lives. There’s a weird distance in all of their interactions
François Arnaud calls on NHL to support LGBTQ+ inclusion if they want to keep using ‘Heated Rivalry’ to drive traction and reach wider audiences:
“If you’re gonna use our name then just back up with real life sh*t like [unbanning] the pride [tapes and jerseys].”
The surprise and secret Buffy Season -1 will be out tomorrow on Disney+. Filmed in hushhushness by *reads lies to get engagement* by actors sent back in time to 1996, this season will satisfy all fans who need to know things spelt out to them in crayon.
for the love of God can people stop with the bisexual erasure when talking about the romance in Heated Rivalry? these are not two gay men. bisexual people don't turn gay/straight depending on their partner. Ilya is a bisexual man. say that.
killing bobby sucked the happiness right out of 911. every episode has been about grief + disconnection. the whole point of the show is found family, and they just . they couldn’t be farther apart, and nothing they’ve done shows me that they’re going to bring that back.
i totally get why it’s necessary but ngl watching this many episodes focused on grief is kinda exhausting for me personally. i’ve lived it irl i don’t necessarily want to experience it again through my silly little wee woo show once a week :/
