🤲 Across the globe, family carers provide long-term care for loved ones who have disabilities or chronic illnesses. Yet their work is unpaid and invisible, forcing many to sacrifice income and education.

💞 Ashoka Fellow Anil Patel helps family carers – mostly women and girls – in India, Bangladesh, and Nepal build community, gain financial stability, and more.

🏥 In Rwanda, public hospitals don't provide meals as part of patient care, forcing low-income patients to skip meals or spend up to 75% of their daily income to buy it.

🍽️ Ashoka Fellow Isabelle Kamariza created a farm-to-fork system to deliver free, medically tailored meals to patients in hospitals.
