Yesterday was the Emperor’s birthday, a national holiday here in Japan. Here’s some throwbacks to the 75th anniversary in 1977 when the Heisei Emperor, who was Crown Prince at the time, visited ASIJ and spoke to students, and May 1987 when the current Emperor visited.

Connor (Grade 12) joined yesterday's Systems Meeting to talk about his involvement in drafting a new sustainability policy for ASIJ. He provided context and answered questions as school leadership reviewed the draft and considered the impact of such a policy.
