As our recovery and cleanup work continues, we ask communities to be mindful that lines on the ground are providing critical connections. Please do not cut any lines on the ground and do not disrupt equipment – whether generators or other infrastructure. For the full update ➡️ https://t.co/0aHyBsTTaY
We’re here to support communities affected by Hurricane Isaias. Since the storm made landfall last night, some customers—primarily in parts of Florida and Alabama—have experienced wireless service disruptions. As conditions allow, our teams are working quickly and safely to reach affected areas, assess damage and restore service. 🧵
Customers in affected areas may also experience home phone and internet service disruptions caused by commercial power outages and storm damage. All major network facilities remain online, though some are operating on backup power. Where facilities are safely accessible, crews are deploying additional backup power and refueling generators to help keep customers connected.
As Tropical Storm Isaias approaches the Gulf Coast, @ATT is ready to help keep customers, first responders and communities connected. Our Network Disaster Recovery (NDR) and the @FirstNet Response Operations Group (ROG) are on their way to the region as local Network teams complete their preparedness checklists. Additionally, the AT&T Weather Operations Center is monitoring conditions to help reduce possible impacts to our network, while prioritizing employee safety.

Our hearts are with everyone affected by Hurricane Nolo, as well as the other major storms that have recently impacted Hawaii. Overall, our wireless network remained strong throughout the storm and is now operating normally across the state. 🧵
We also continue to refuel generators supporting cell sites affected by power outages and will do so until power returns. In times like these, the essential need for dependable connectivity becomes especially clear. With more than $1 billion invested since its inception three decades ago, our Network Disaster Recovery (NDR) program stands as the largest of its kind in the industry.
