Good morning all. So I was asked why I "ruin" my images with a big watermark splashed across the middle. First I only do this on Social Media images, prints have a small light signature in the lower right corner. Second the opacity has been lowered so that it's minimally intrusive. Third and most importantly, people steal my images to make crappy prints (the dpi is lowered on these images and file size is reduced to reduce loading times, consequently it makes prints look like crap) and claim the work as their own, ignoring my copyright, and with the advent of AI, even AI is stealing my work.
For those reasons, I've decided that I have to splash a big watermark across the images I post on the internet. I hate that it has come to this, but the world is the world, and I can only hope that you can see the beauty of the images past the watermark.
To those that have purchased prints from me like @estevens0845 and Dr. D at Seeca Medical thank you for your patronage and support.
Good morning my friends. We have reached 10% of our goal to film: Code Red: A Cardiac Wake Up Call featuring myself, my wife, and an amazing group of first responders, but we need your help to fund this film. Please consider donating and sharing.
