Nick integrates emerging technologies and practical problem-solving in his teaching, so students in grades 6-12 can learn design, construction, and technical applications. His ever-evolving course content combines innovation and craftsmanship in unique, hands-on projects.

Andrew embodies innovation in education. He develops unique, hands-on learning and career exploration experiences, liaises with tradespeople and businesses to connect students with careers, mentors other teachers, and is always expanding his own knowledge.

Pam Durling understands how important it is for students to see their culture represented at school. By creating space for students to feel included, connected, and respected, Pam is preparing them for a successful future as active members of the community.

Nova Scotia's public schools celebrate Black Excellence Day on May 15th each year. Everyone is welcome to wear black on Thursday to show unity and support for the success of Black students.

Students from pre-primary to Grade 12, post-secondary students and new Nova Scotians will receive Nova Scotia Loyal vouchers to help them discover and enjoy local products at participating farmers’ markets.

The $10 voucher will be sent home this month.

More than 70 award winners were recognized from all regional centres for education and the CSAP.
