A great week in Taipei!
At our Arizona Forum, leaders highlighted collaboration opportunities between Arizona and Taiwan’s startup and innovation communities, building on growth across semiconductors, AI, and advanced manufacturing.
During our time in Taipei, our team had the privilege of meeting with AEON Corporation and the International Trade Administration to exchange insights on emerging opportunities across advanced technology, trade, and investment.

We're excited to share that @SandraWatsonAZ was recognized among the recipients of the 2026 Ellis Island Medals of Honor last month! The award, recognized by both houses of Congress, celebrates individuals whose achievements and service reflect the spirit of our nation.
🌐The ACA joined local leaders to celebrate the launch of the new fiber‑internet network! Supported by $4.8 million through the ACA’s Arizona Broadband Development Grant program, the 65-mile project will deliver high‑speed internet to 440 homes & businesses across Graham County.
We wrapped our time in Kaohsiung highlighting Arizona’s strong business environment at the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs and connecting with leaders at Advanced Semiconductor Engineering.
In addition, we were proud to join the Sister City Signing Ceremony between Kaohsiung and @CityofTucson. The MOU formalizes a growing partnership rooted in shared strengths including innovation, manufacturing, education, and research.

Our Arizona delegation began with visits to the Asia New Bay Area Innovation Hub, Smart Transportation center, National Sun Yet-sen University and Kao‑Ho Hospital.
The Port Authority was proud to participate in the USMCA Agricultural Trade Forum alongside @GovernorHobbs, the @azcommerce, @azfb, and @FreshProduceAA. Nogales is the backbone of North American food security. What crosses our port feeds families across the country.
In South Korea, the ACA visited LG Science Park and met with key partners across semiconductors, AI, energy, and advanced technologies. We also participated in the Arizona x Korea Innovation Launchpad, bringing together government and startup leaders from across the region.
We spent the day in Kumamoto City, Japan, connecting with local startups, hosting an Arizona Business Seminar, & touring JASM to highlight opportunities across advanced industries. Thank you to Vice Governor Takeuchi & our partners for the warm welcome and meaningful discussions.
Will Arizonans benefit from the state's chip boom? Absolutely.
@abc15 and @AdamKleppAZ showcase NNME Southwest, a multi-state partnership led by @azcommerce spanning industry, universities, community colleges, K-12, workforce orgs and more accelerating microelectronics training.
Partners will align curriculum with employer needs, coordinate career pathways across the semiconductor value chain, and expand access to hands‑on training.
