It is still very difficult to believe that Arshad Bhai has left us so suddenly.

May Allah Ta’ala forgive Arshad Siddiqui Sahab, elevate his ranks, forgive all his shortcomings, illuminate his grave, and grant him the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus.

May Allah give Sabr-e-Jameel to his children, brothers, family members, friends and all those who loved him

Today, the nation has lost a compassionate, fearless and courageous leader. For me personally, it feels as if a strong shade of affection, guidance and support has been lifted.

Every soul has to return to Allah, but some departures leave a pain that cannot be forgotten.

He also wanted me to take responsibility, or at least regularly guide the management committee, of the educational campus established by him in District Hardoi. InshaAllah, I will try my best to fulfil this wish of Arshad Bhai.

Whenever he visited the office of his brother Janab Shahbaz Siddiqui Sahab, which is next to the AMP office, he would call me and Saeed Bhai. We would sit with him for hours, listen to his experiences and benefit from his guidance.

spoke to the Consul, and arranged special visas for me and my entire family, including my mother. Unfortunately, I could not perform that last Umrah with my mother, but Arshad Bhai’s effort will remain in my heart forever.

His relations across political, social, religious and business circles were extraordinary, yet he remained simple, cheerful, warm-hearted and down-to-earth.

Arshad Bhai was always seen standing in the front line.

He fought Lok Sabha elections from Dhaurahra, served as National Chairman of the Red Crescent Society, and was the son of Late Janab Ilyas Azmi Sahab, former Member of Parliament from Shahabad.

Whether it was relief work after the Mumbai riots, large-scale medical camps in Bhuj and Anjar after the Gujarat tragedy through Red Crescent Society, medical aid during the Iraq war, support for Rohingya refugees, or service during the Uttarakhand disaster —

Arshad Bhai never said “no” for any good cause. The work which many people could only think about, he had the courage and capacity to practically execute it.

I had the opportunity to travel with him to different parts of India, meet many important personalities through him, and learn a lot from his courage, speed of work, decision-making and passion for service.

I had the privilege to attend an “Intellectuals Meet” on Morning of 18th May at 𝐓𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐚 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐚𝐦𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐕𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞, 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢 , along with Dr. Abdul Ahad Sahab, Member, AMP National Core Team and
