Grateful to @Provoke_News (and to the always-thoughtful @Dkmarszalek) for featuring an excerpt from my new book, Wired for Purpose. The Connector’s Code chapter is close to my heart — thanks for giving it a home. 🙏📖

Wondering how much piss @JonesandKeefe are taking out of @bradfo for shitting on the @RedSox during their weekly interview on @WEEI earlier this week. They really seemed to struggle out of the gate today to the tune of 10-0 and 5-3 (in a bullpen game no less). 🤷🏽♂️
🤖 AI IS COMING FOR YOUR JOB!
...is what you have been told. But as it turns out, those fears were probably overstated. We can all breathe a collective sigh of relief (at least for now).
I spoke with Aaron Strout, author of "Wired for Purpose" about the AI boomerang effect that is taking place today.
Businesses that fired for AI are having to bring people back. Why? Does this mean your job is safe?

@ElissaSlotkin I’m sorry you lost your dad. I lost mine five years ago and I’d like to tell you it’s easier, but it doesn’t. But such an important day to remember all the good things that they brought into our lives.
Happy Father’s Day
Age 5 – Dad knows everything!
Age 7 – Dad knows a lot.
Age 10 – Maybe Dad doesn’t know everything?
Age 12 – Dad doesn’t know anything.
Age 14 – Dad lost his mind!
Age 16 – I can’t take Dad seriously.
Age 18 – What does Dad even know?
Age 22 – Dad talks nonsense!
Age 24 – I know more than Dad!
Age 26 – Turns out, Dad actually knows a few things.
Age 30 – I should probably ask Dad about this…
Age 40 – How did Dad make it through all of that?!
Age 45 – Dad was always right.
Age 50 – If only Dad were here… I’d have so much to learn.
@amarranazo@BarackObama@MichelleObama No, actually. I like having opposing viewpoints in government. What I don’t like is when leaders on both sides of the aisle can’t sit down and get things done. Ideally when nobody is happy with the outcomes, it’s working correctly.
Last week, I had a great conversation with @tocquigny1 on the Success Made to Last Legends podcast, riffing on the ideas behind my new book, Wired for Purpose.
During our interview, Rick and I dug into a question I keep coming back to: in an age increasingly shaped by AI, why do authentic relationships remain the ultimate competitive advantage?
A few threads we pulled on:
→ The “Connector's Code” and why generosity, not networking, builds real influence
→ What "truly significant" means beyond career milestones, especially for Gen Z entering an uncertain workplace
→ The difference between being well-connected and being “genuinely” connected
Grateful to Rick and team for a thoughtful, wide-ranging chat that even wandered into a few unexpected side quests.
Give it a listen and let me know what resonates. 🎧

Last night, I was proud to attend my friend @AaronStrout's talk and networking event in NY to celebrate the release of his new book, "Wired for Purpose: Why Humanity is the Biggest Differentiator in a Digital World." The event was organized by the one and only @stephagresta...among the best publicity, event organizers, networking masters I've had the pleasure of knowing and working with.
It was so wonderful to be there for Aaron's special, to see old friends, and meet new friends too!
I got the paperback and bought the audio version too! That way Aaron can join me on my trips!
