the issue is this:
Those Israelis who push back against apartheid inside the Israeli "legal borders" (ie 1967) are largely right. Despite some friction, the Palestinians inside Israel have prob sam or higher quality of life and stability compared to some of their neighbors in Arab countries. A large % of them are doctors, lawyers, nurses etc. Very highly integrated and benefiting from equality. Not perfect for sure, and surely not ideal under crazies like Ben Gvir, who is not addressing the gang violence in Arab cities and villages.
However, the real hypocrisy is that these are 20% of Israelis (let's say $2-2.5m). While outside of the 67 borders you have more than 5 million between Gaza and the West Bank with no voting rights, no travel freedom etc etc etc. What are they? floating people? for 60 years?

they were not "helping" but they were also not eliminating the Jewish presence. They could have done much more if they wanted to.
Not sure what your argument is - that the British were not supportive? that there should be a Jewish presence? or not? a division or not?

Dude - study your history.
The UN resolution was not a "draft proposal", it stated the establishment of the Jewish land, voted in favor: US, Russia, England etc.
It's convenient to recognize UN resolutions only when they serve your purpose :) unreal...

The British mandate - not only that it was supportive of the Jewish population and the establishment of the community in Israel - it oversaw it from the first minute it took over the land.
The Jewish population established cities, factories, industries and collaborated with the British occupation in various areas. Was there friction too? Of course, and even military clashes (btw also from the Arab side). T

hat said - it was clear to anyone involved that a Jewish entity and an Arab entity share that land TOGETHER.

הם לא יצליחו להחליף בין הטוב והרע, בין האמת לשקר. אנחנו לא נאפשר את זה, עם ישראל לא יאפשר את זה.
מחזק את חברי, אלוף (מיל׳) יאיר גולן שלחם למען מדינת ישראל עשרות שנים וגם בבוקר שבעה באוקטובר, גילה אחריות ואומץ לב והציל חיים בגבורה.

Tbh @IhabHassane is one of the more moderate and balanced voices inside the Palestinian side on X.

Not everyone belongs to the pro-Israel team or the Free Palestine team.

He consistently goes against Hamas, probably risking himself and his family. And yes, he also goes against the settlers' actions like I would do.

All in all we should expect every Palestinian in the world and in the West Bank or Gaza to be in favor of "Free Palestine" because it's not like Israel has a different solution for them right now than having no rights to vote or travel.
