We may have changed names to @PenrithReserves but we organised this as the academy so our last game and first preseason game is against @W_Miners midday kickoff come support the lads!💙⚽️

Looking at the season we finished 3rd and won the league cup which we are very happy with overall and are hoping to push on with that next season having 35 people play and 26 score for us this season with the young team we have we hope the future is bright! 💙⚽️

We then went down to the club to watch the champions league and have our awards handed out by Wayne. The awards that we handed out this year Managers player, players player, Jack Taylor break through player and the bromance of the season award… The trophies didn’t turn up tho

Everything he’s done this season is what we would want from leaving his Saturday job at the start of the season to being the first one there for the final he couldn’t play in, so here’s to Layton!

Our final award was players player and that man Layton Davies won it again having only just turned 18 a few weeks ago has been a perfect example of what we want one of our players to be. From the 1st second he walks on the pitch til the last minute (unless he has sore calves)

Our next award was managers player, this award was won by someone who played every minute of every game was our teams top goal scorer and 5th in the league only playing one game up and the rest at centre half. Most importantly though he was the managers son so….

The next award was the Jack Taylor break through player, Jack played all his juniors at penrith then played for the reserves and the academy. This was won by Layton Davies for having a brilliant season before sadly getting injured a week before our final.

Bromance of the season could of went to Kai and Kacper, hoggy and his goal line, Owen Brown and red bulls, Kai and Rio with a late push but the deserving winners was Layton Davies (a name you’ll hear for a couple more awards) Ollie Rebanks

Today the boys went paint balling before having our presentation down at the club.

Final game of the season just about sees us beat @LunesdaleUnited 3-2 who if they did player roulette all season might of stayed up because they didn’t stop. Seasons finally over and was an overall good season for the young team.
