What we’re looking for:

· Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field.

· Minimum 2 years of professional experience in digital journalism, sub-editing, or in a news room.

· Exceptional command of written and spoken English, including strong copy-editing and grammar skills.

· Sharp news sense and strong editorial judgment to identify key stories and verify sources.

· Proven ability to write, edit, and publish breaking news and feature stories on tight deadlines.

· Practical knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for web headlines, keywords, and metadata.

· Competency with social media platforms (X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) for article promotion.

· Basic understanding of web traffic analytics tools like Google Analytics.

· Basic skills in multimedia management, such as cropping imagery and editing basic video/audio assets.
