@ILTollway Thank you for reminding me to never travel through Illinois ever again. I would gladly pay my tolls at the toll booth. Whoops. I can't pay at the toll booth - BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE THEM.
However, what I do get to pay is $27.00 in invoice fees for traveling four hours through your state. Each time I passed by a toll camera, I got charged the toll plus a $3 invoice fee. The most expensive toll I had was $2.80 plus a $3.00 invoice fee. What a complete scam! The invoice fee was more that the toll itself. #Fraud
Yep. I had $15.60 in tolls and $27.00 dollars in invoice fees. Nine - count them - nine $3.00 invoice charges.
Do you know how many invoices I got in the mail? Yep, you guessed it. I got one. But, I was charged nine times for one invoice. If this is not fraud, I don't know what is. Unbelievable.
Fraud is on full display at the #ILTollway.
@TSUtorres8@katrina__2@IndianaFever You are correct. Teams can do whatever they want. However, that does not mean that their decisions don't come with potential consequences.
Just because you CAN do something, does not always mean you SHOULD.
Thanks for the conversation. Take care.
There is a reason I used the term "case study" in my original post - because time will tell.
In the meantime, the @IndianaFever would serve themselves well by telling fans the truth. It's much harder perpetuating a lie than it is to simply tell the truth. The American fanbase is generally really forgiving - if the truth comes first. This is why I really feel sorry for the organization's PR staff. I would bet this was not their call, but they are the ones who will have to defend it. It's their job.
@TSUtorres8@katrina__2@IndianaFever I've spent the last 25+ years doing PR for professional sports teams and athletes.
So, yes I know a lot about professional sports, how the business runs, how sports fans react to being duped, and how to manage the crisis that goes with all of that.
"Is the president working to make life more affordable for you and your family? Is the president working to keep Americans safe both at home and abroad? Is the president working for you?"
~ Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger
Well...yeah.
While there is still a ways to go, things are significantly more affordable now than even a year ago. Most major cities are seeing significantly reduced crime numbers.
I would say things are moving in the right direction.
@rumblevideo I am a shareholder. I should not have to watch your very crappy @GooglePlay ads (and other similar crappy ads) during a video I am trying to watch. Those are so annoying that it makes me want to sell my stock and watch content on a competing platform. Maybe its the crappy ads that have the stock price down from $12 a share to under $6. Either provide ad free content or I am gone. I am ready to sell my stock because clearly the stock value is going down and I have to sit through really bad ads.
@BillEigel If @BillEigel was MO GOP chair, I would be more optimistic. There is plenty of "red" work to be done. And, you could do a lot to ensure that work gets done.
I'm just waiting patiently to hear you are running for chair. What do you say?
Dr. Douglas Frank presented data to Johnson County, Missouri residents that suggests that our elections in Missouri are not secure and our election officials know they're not secure due to the (1) election machines and (2) fraudulent voter rolls. Unfortunately, Missouri election officials refuse to fix the problem.
Watch and decide for yourself.

Tomorrow is the reckoning. We are sprinting through the finish line. Together, we are going to win.
We will deport illegals. We will eliminate personal property taxes. We will kick China off of our land. The joy and dedication of the people behind this race has been inspiring!
Letβs Go Missouri!
@BillEigel met with Johnson County residents at the Grassroots Headquarters in Warrensburg. He addressed issues like eliminating personal property and income taxes; how he plans to deal with immigration; his thoughts on school choice; Republican candidate vetting; eliminating DESE; Red Flag laws; executive term limits; and much more.
Vote Aug. 6.
