@kylenabecker While I agree that a lot needs to be fixed in our government, this man's blindness in no way prevents him from working (even overseeing) at highly qualified levels, and to make his disability a punchline to imply he is not capable is a shame.
Great to have Ben Harris back who has been out celebrating the birth of his 1st child. Congrats! He's definitely back to doing what he does striking hitters out. His K% in 2022 was North of 40%, it was 31.4% last year & so far this year it's 29.1%. He throws an invisible ball. #dodgers
Ben Harris, not surprisingly, struck out the 1 hitter he faced. He now has 7,423,458 Ks since the beginning of 2022. Okay, okay, that's an exaggeration. Well, actually, I'm not sure it is! #dodgers
No surprise Ben Harris K'd his 1 hitter!
In 2022 he led the MiLB in K/9 at 19.19 at Rancho & 15.43 at Great Lakes. Hides the ball as well as any pitcher, so he throws an "Invisible" ball. Like all of these young guys, it's about keeping it in the zone for him. #Dodgers
Ben Harris led the MiLB in 2022 with 19.19 Ks/9
Hides the ball maybe better than any other pitcher & settled into the type of slider he wants to throw to compliment his FB. Strikeouts play up in High Leverage situations, especially from lefties, so huge future ahead. #Dodgers
I have no desire for a Christianity that:
(1)emphasizes relationship w/Jesus w/out taking seriously his teachings
or
(2)emphasizes the teachings of Jesus w/out taking seriously the call to deep communion him
I desire the King & the Kingdom. Not one at the expense of the other
In 2024 may we choose...
• empathizing over judging
• a gentle spirit over an edgy spirit
• listening over dismissing
• blessing over cursing
• forgiving over begrudging
• giving over taking
• deferring over dominating
• curiosity over unteachability
• befriending the lonely over social climbing
• peacemaking over partisan rage
• King Jesus over earthly rulers
Tomorrow is hearing loss awareness night at ONEOK Field! 🦻
The boys will be wearing jerseys with Tulsa across the front in ASL. We will be auctioning them off with the proceeds benefiting Tulsa's Deaf Community.

Ben Harris threw 2.1 scoreless innings for Tulsa in what was, in essence, a bullpen game for the Drillers. Harris has gone scoreless in 6 of his last 7 outings & has lowered his ERA this month to 2.21, average against was .182 before his no hit performance tonight. #dodgers
Ben Harris is throwing his invisible ball again. He led the MiLB last year in Ks per innings & tonight he struck out 4 in 1.2 scoreless. Harris is on another heater as he hasn't allowed a run in 5 outings in a row & 9 out of 10 & he has 11 Ks in his last 5.1 innings. #dodgers
Before the water turned into wine, someone had to do the ordinary, tiresome task of filling the water pots.
We want the new wine to just appear, but Jesus calls us to fill the jars first.
In short, God often wants us to participate in our own transformation.
Listening to Tim Keller and reading his books made me want to:
1. Read scripture more ferociously.
2. Pray with greater regularity.
3. Study the surrounding culture with greater specificity.
4. Proclaim the gospel in simplicity.
5. Pastor faithfully.
Grateful.
